Smarter AI
You asked, we listened. Based on your feedback, the AI has had a brain upgrade. It now builds its empire by what actually matters instead of just grabbing the cheapest thing on the list, and it chases down the tech leader instead of falling behind in the mid game. The AI has also stopped pestering everyone with unprompted first-contact messages.
One more thing: AI players no longer get special protection. If you want to declare war on them, go right ahead. They are fair game, always.
A Galaxy in 3D
Planets and ringworlds are no longer flat sprites. They are now full 3D objects that rotate in space and catch the light from their star, so flying across the map finally looks like the galaxy it is meant to be.
Battle reports got the same treatment, with 3D ringworld defenders and shimmering energy shields wrapping around planets under attack.
No More Ghost Empires
Empires left to drift no longer sit there as dead weight. When a player abandons their empire, an AI commander steps in and takes over. The galaxy keeps fighting, with or without you.
Decrees, Not VIP Tokens
We renamed VIP Tokens to Decrees. The old name carried a whiff of pay-to-win, like the people with the deepest pockets get the VIP treatment. That is not what Ferion is about. Every empire rises or falls on strategy, not spending. Decrees fits the world better and drops the baggage.
Speaking Your Language
We did a full pass across every language Ferion supports. All 17 languages got the
polish. Whatever language you play in, it should feel like it was written for you.
Chat Auto Translations
We have players from all over the world, not everybody speaks English. Now in game chats are automatically ai translated to your own language.
